Easter Camp

Hey ppl.

From the 7-10 April 2006 I was at the OCF Easter Camp. Venue ? Tatachilla Camping and Conference Center. The Theme of the camp is Why Love ? 1 John 3: 16,18. Yep, its all about love. It may sound pretty simple but its much more complex then that.............
Guest speaker : Pastor Lau Tak Siong, a truly dynamic speaker. This is how it went ........

Day 1 :

Trip to Tatachilla..........

This is me at the train station.............had to sit train from Adelaide city to the camp site. Went there with my fellow lincolnites.

We arrive at Tatachilla at about 6.30 pm on that Friday.

Wala............ this is our dorm. My bed is the one at the bottom. The rooms are pretty cold though.

Yep, safety is a priority here.

So after registration we get to see the dining are for dinner. Pretty big. The food they serve is pretty much Lincoln "style".

Anyways, after dinner there was praise and worship. Then we had our first group meeting. I was in Storge, a greek word that meant family love. The groups were different words of love. Some to mention were Eros, Agape, Philia, Cinta, Ai....and so on. My group was cool. Had a high team spirit. We played a few games as ice breakers and I ended doing the punishment ( a penalty when u lose) where I had to run round the hall shouting Storge. Good fun.

This is YuTing. I actually forgot to bring my specs to camp. Typical. Thank God for her because she brought it for me the following day.

Day 2

The schedule basically goes like this:

7am- Devotions,

8 am- Breakfast,

9 am - Praise and Worship and Speaker session,

10am- Group Discussion

12pm- Lunch

Afternoon- BGR Workshop and Games

Night- Praise and Worhip and Speaker session
