Scavenger Hunt

Sorry guys for the slow update. Apparently there is a DoTA gang at Lincoln's and everytime I try to update my blog they invite me to play on the network. Anywayz, they suck by Malaysian standards. I think I can totally own damn. But then again, I am a super chun player. ( ahem ).

Well, getting on with the title : Scavenger Hunt. It was one of the fun events that happened during O-Week. Here's how it began. First, we gathered in the Lincoln grounds at around 7 o'clock ( night that is ) and divided into groups of four. Then we were all given a list of tasks to complete, each task having its own points based on the difficulty to complete it. Then we were let loose into the North Adelaide to finish them. You can imagine, us being all tied up hand to hand running around in bunny ears doing idiotic stuff. Fun. Here are a few pictures of how it actually went down : We needed the pictures as prove that we did those stuff.

This would be my team. Josephine (Msia), Edward(Brunei), i forgot her name(I dun hang out with her much but i know she is msian) and Me. Our guide was a cool Australian dude named Matt. We had Rexson(Hong Kong) and Beng(Singapore I think) too to follow and help out.Notice the difference between the pics ? One of the task was for the guy to change pants with another gurl. Thank God she wasn't wearing a skirt. This is us outside the pharmacy. What are we doing there ? Buying the smallest condoms. And what do we do with it ? Give it to a stranger. This is us at the Archer, the nearest pub to Lincoln. Asking bout beer.We needed a picture with a couple kissing and we found them. We had to leave a note in the post office so we decided to be nice. One task was to get 1 kg of grass. U can imagine how much we had to pick. Destruction of public property.

Matt was a really sporting guy. We had to give a stranger a piece of clothing but none of us had any crap stuff. So Matt took off his socks and we gave it to this homeless guy who's hugging me now.

Edward our hero. In one task we had to select a member to drink one of their special mixed punch in one shot. Or to skull it they say. Well, Edward stepped up and this is how he did.

And lastly one of the task was to steal another freshers clothing. Well, it was dark.............so ........ haha

Well, there were many other crazy stuff that we did and we were suppost to do. (Steal a bathtub from St.Ann's , another residential college in Adelaide, or dump the condoms in front of St.Marks, another residential college, but we didn't have the time.) Great crazy night. They all ended up going to the pub again. Heavy drinkers after all.

Another cool event was the Annual Lincoln Walk. A great time to bully freshers. So I was in bed round 6 am. Had a long night. Slept late. And suddenly there goes the first alarm. Right. It was a fire drill. At 6am. I thought it was a bad nightmare. 6 am. The piercing noise just kept going on and on, with sounds of footsteps echoing the hallway. 6 am. I looked at my watch. 6 am. You gotta be kidding. And there we were lining up in the lawns wearing our pyjamas, shivering our butts off in the cold weather, and they come up and tell u its a fire drill. Yea that's ok. Except you don't get to go back to bed. Then you get to have a long walk where u tour the streets of North Adelaide. At bout 6.30 am in the morning. Insane. We were all in sleep wear. Still sleepy. In bathrobes. Some guys were topless. And we had a tour walking round in pyjamas on O'Connell street. Worse part was we had to do some morning exercise. Hahaha. And ppl all around looking at us one kind. And wave to the passing vehicles on the street. At least we got some breakfast. But it was really cold. I forgot my specs. Good fun once again. Next year we get to do it the freshers. Enjoy.
